The 3 Prime Reasons for Controlling Toxic Indoor Mold Growth
Mold Causes Structural Damage to Building Materials and Components
Mold Creates Aesthetically Unpleasing Stains and Odors
Mold Exposure Is Known to Cause Adverse Health Effects
Mold inspectors and mold test companies cannot make recommendations about the specific affects or consequences mold exposure might have on any person. We must leave that to the health care professionals and industrial hygienists.
The extensive damage mold can do to building materials and the aesthetic ramifications are enough to warrant taking action to remove the mold, and more importantly, the source of moisture that allowed the mold to grow in the first place.
We can fix that.

These 3 Things Must be Present for Mold to Appear
MOLD SPORES
Mold exists as a part of the natural environment and plays an important role in our ecological system by breaking down and digesting organic material.
It is neither plant nor animal but belongs to the kingdom “Fungi.”
Mold is everywhere. We cannot totally eliminate mold from the environment.
NUTRIENTS
Buildings are made of and contain porous materials that mold consumes for nutrients including wood, drywall paper, wallpaper, adhesives, textile fibers, plant material and soil.
Mold can grow on the dust that settles on non-porous materials like glass, metal, rock, brick, concrete, mortar, tile and grout.
We have very little control of the materials our homes are made of.
MOISTURE
Moisture can infiltrate our homes via exterior moisture intrusion, interior plumbing leaks, conditions of high humidity, poor or improper ventilation design, poor storage practices and flooding.
Mold can start growing the instant it comes in contact with water.
Moisture is the only thing we have control of when addressing mold growth issues.
No water. No mold growth
