Dave Frederick is the owner of D.A. Frederick Construction, Lic. #498995, and the website GotMoldGetUs.com, each based in Hathaway Pines. California.

Dave Frederick has extensive experience in the evaluation, inspection and repair of residential and commercial buildings and real estate valuation.  He has operated as a licensed building contractor, certified home inspector, licensed real estate agent, registered insurance agent and certified mold inspector.

He holds California State Contractors license number 498995.  His construction company was initially established in 1986 when he was remodeling homes and apartments in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He has extensive construction experience in building design and repair.

In 1998 Dave opened The Home Inspector, a residential and commercial home inspection company with the primary objective of providing a thorough inspection and report about the overall condition of a building and associated land site.  The company’s primary clients were buyers looking to acquire real estate properties in the Calaveras, Alpine and Tuolumne county areas in the central region of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.   This resort region is often referred to as “The Mother Lode” and whose communities include Arnold, Bear Valley, San Andreas, Murphys, Angels Camp, Jamestown and Sonora.

The Home Inspector was incorporated in 2004 to become The Home Inspector, Inc.   Dave sold his shares to the other partners in 2007 to focus primarily on his secondary support company he called “The Mold Inspector”.

The Mold Inspector has helped provide support in a region where very few vendors exist but an ever increasing demand for service was needed.

Dave received his certification for mold inspections from EMSL Analytical, Inc., the nation’s leading environmental testing firm and has passed the OSHA training for hazardous material removal.

In 2019 Dave merged his construction company with the mold inspection service to be able to provide mold and hazardous material remediation services.  This action was done to help alleviate the backlog of work accumulating in the region due to a lack of qualified vendors.
